For the movie The Magnificent Seven, Sony wanted a robust yet playful campaign to tease the film's premiere.

Seven “Anatomy of an Action Scene” videos were created that combined film footage with graphics and diagrams in order to show the amazing skills of our heroes.

In a nod to the film's humor, we also created a social series of "Hipster or Homesteader" images that riffed on the surprising similarities between the styles of the Old West and the hipster throwback aesthetics of the New Cool.

50 “Pony Express Boxes” for influencers were created. These included: an intro letter with a brief background of the movie, old-fashioned playing cards, a branded flash drive, 7 collectible cards, a branding iron with the letters “MAG7”, a recipe card for an Old West cocktail, a copper drinking mug, and more.
