Falling in love always changes you in spectacular and surprising ways. Just like games do.
For their showcase trailer at E3, the video game industry’s biggest event of the year, Xbox wanted to make a splash revealing their slate of upcoming releases. This broadcast spot would need to encompass six different diverse games, while also speaking to fans’ emotional connection to gaming.
My solution was to write a rousing love letter to video games, exploring how transformative the love of play can be.
And with Marvel’s newest superhero star Simu Liu as our tour guide, the results were sure to be engaging and poignant.
