For the second season of this FX show about the comedic trials of a once-popular rock band struggling to make a comeback, we created a social campaign that leaned into the raucous debauchery of the Rock & Roll lifestyle.

CONCERT TEES
To tease the new season, we first released a series of concert t-shirts on social. These continued throughout the run of the show as new storylines emerged.

ANIMATED STORYBOARDS
To excite fans for the new Assassins music video release, we took clips and digitally reworked them to appear as if the storyboards were transforming into video.

'90's ALBUM COVERS
To introduce new fans to the characters of the show, and to excite existing fans for their return, we created social content that played upon the former glory of these aging (once were) rock gods. As the 90's were the height of the band's fame, we stuck to iconic album covers from that era.

GIG POSTERS
These band promo posters revealed the inner thoughts of the members of the Assassins, and how they truly saw each other. These shareable pieces of social content rewarded dedicated fans with a wink at the inner conflicts of the band while also introducing new fans to the show’s twisted dynamics.

JOHNNY'S TIPS TO ROCK OUT
Using the persona of Johnny Rock, we created infographics, short animated tutorials, and instructional how to’s for the aspiring rocker looking to make it in the music game.

POP-UP VIDEOS
Leaning into the throwback vibe of Johnny Rock, we created a series of videos inspired by 90’s era pop-up videos.

WEEKLY SHOW ASSETS
We also created shareable show assets during the run of the second season.
